There are different types of renewable energy. John David Kaweske, founder of Bio Clean Energy indicates that energy can be obtained in many ways. It just have to be transformed, in this case, into electrical energy. A variety of inexhaustible sources can be found in nature from which to extract energy.
John David Kaweske lists the different types of renewable energies that exist:
1. Wind energy
Wind energy is the one that uses the force of the wind to produce electricity. Kaweske indicates that it is
obtained through the wind turbines installed in wind farms.
2. Solar energy
Another of the best known renewable energy sources is that
which comes from the sun. Kaweske
specifies that we must distinguish between solar thermal energy and photovoltaic
solar energy.
Thermal solar energy. It is also known as thermoelectric
energy. It is the one that concentrates solar radiation with mirrors to heat a
fluid with which to produce steam and with this in turn electricity.
Photovoltaic Solar Energy. It is the one that directly
converts solar radiation into electricity thanks to solar panels integrated by
photovoltaic cells.
3. Hydraulic or hydroelectric energy
Hydraulic energy is that energy that takes advantage of the force of moving water to produce and / or store electricity. To achieve this, Kaweske explains that the water from rivers or streams that descends from the mountains is used.
4. Biomass
We also have biomass as another source of renewable energy, which uses organic matter as an energy source. Organic matter can be natural, residual, or from energy crops. Thanks to the combustion of biomass, heat is generated to heat water. This is converted into steam that generates electricity from turbo-alternator groups.
5. Geothermal energy
This source of renewable energy is obtained by taking advantage of the internal heat of the earth transmitted by the internal layers of its interior. Kaweske, who is a specialist in renewable energy and the production of biofuels, specifies that the ground is drilled and pipes are installed through which water is passed which, once heated, is transformed into water vapor. This steam passes through a turbine system that generates electricity.
6. Tidal energy
This energy is what takes advantage of the rise and fall of the sea water that is produced by the gravitational action of the sun and the moon. In other words, the energy of the tides that are produced in the oceans is used.
7. Wave or wave energy
Wave energy is that which is obtained thanks to the waves of
the sea. Depending on the technology used, John David Kaweske specifies that this energy can be obtained on
the surface or at the bottom of the sea, thanks to the force of the water.
Now that you know the different renewable sources, you can use take advantage of them.
